Designed by Chiropractor, Dr. Jay Kennedy, the Neck Deck provides gentle and comfortable extension traction treatment. The Dr. Kennedy Neck Deck allows patients to ease into their traction treatment in clinic, followed by continued use at home. Patients begin by lying on or sitting against the contoured foam base for a few minutes each day. As you become more comfortable (usually within a week), a patient can add short inflations sessions with the neck roll. Finally, add the forehead strap with greater inflation force for a longer duration. It is important to begin extension therapy with several, in-office supervised sessions. This will ensure proper use and tolerance of the unit for continued treatment at home.

How it Works

The Neck Deck's contoured foam base places the patient in an ideal position for traction treatment with important anterior translation of the torso and posterior translation of the skull. Other traction units that require lying on the floor or another flat surface are unable to create the important posterior translation. The Neck Deck allows patients new to extension therapy to ease into their traction treatment. Patients begin by lying on the contoured foam base for a few minutes each day.
